Given our environmental state of affairs, if we can use less of anything, it's a good start. Whether we're talking fossil fuels or toner, it all comes down to the same benefit. The easy thing about toner products is that the refilled/remanufactured product has been proven to perform just as well as the original. Not only will you reduce the amount of plastic used by this industry, choosing this alternative means that — by not buying new — you are also doing your part to reduce packaging materials and their associated costs.

Reuse...

One of the most important aspects of the refilled/remanufactured toner industry is to convince users to "turn in their empties". This is particularly important for products associated with new models of equipment — if we don't have empty cartridges, we can't refill 'em.
